Ensuring feed quality at the source. We offer complimentary on-farm sampling of all forage types to assess quality and safety. Our testing includes analysis for toxin levels, molds, and yeast, providing you with critical information to make informed feeding decisions and maintain herd health.
Veterinary Services
Collaborative care for you animals’ best health. Our team works closely with your primary veterinarian to manage prescription medications and Veterinary Feed Directives (VFDs). We are available to answer your questions in person or over the phone and can conduct farm vet visits to support your livestock’s health needs.
Custom Ration Formulation– Tailored nutrition for optimal performance
Burkmann Feed offers tailored nutrition for optional performance with three experienced nutritionists on staff. We specialize in formulating balanced rations that align with your specific goals and available forages. Utilizing advanced software, we provide quick adjustments to diets for beef and dairy cattle. Rations for swine, poultry, sheep, horses and goats are also available, ensuring your animals receive the precise nutrition they require.
Farm Visits
Responsive support when you need it. Our dedicated sales team is available for farm visits to address any concerns or challenges you may face. We strive to have a representative on your farm within 24 hours if an issue arises. Regular visits by our sales team and nutritionists help maintain optimal feeding strategies and address any evolving needs.
